Design Thinking Process I Use
1 Empathise:
Understand the needs and challenges of the users by observing, engaging, and empathising with them. This step involved conducting interviews, surveys, and observations to gather insights into users' experiences and perspectives.
2 Define:
Synthesise the gathered information to define the core problems and challenges faced by users. This step involves analysing the data collected during the empathised stage to identify patterns, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
4 Prototype:
Creating tangible representations of the potential solutions developed during the ideation stage. Prototypes took various forms, ranging from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity interactive mockups. The goal is to quickly test and iterate on different design concepts to gather feedback and refine the solutions
3 Ideate:
Generating a wide range of possible solutions to address the defined problems. This step encourages brainstorming and creative thinking to explore different approaches and perspectives. Techniques such as mind mapping, sketching, and brainstorming are use to generate ideas.
5 Test:
Test the prototypes with users to gather feedback and insights that can inform further refinement and iteration. This step involves conducting usability testing, user interviews, and feedback sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of the designs. The feedback obtained during testing is used to iterate on the designs and make improvements before finalizing the solution.
